40 Under 40: Erika Ebbel Angle of Science from Scientists

After being listed on the Boston Business Journal’s list of 40 Under 40, Dr. Erika has been featured in the BBJ.

Here is an excerpt from the article written by Mary Pratt on October 16, 2014:

Growing up in the San Francisco area, Erika Ebbel Angle developed a passion for science. But while she was a student at MIT, she saw news stories about how young people were losing interest in science, technology, engineering and math — the so-called STEM subjects. Troubled by that, Angle started the nonprofit Science from Scientists in 2002, while still an MIT undergrad. Angle, a graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, went on to earn a bachelor’s from MIT, a doctorate from Boston University and the Miss Massachusetts title in 2004, all while building her organization.
