For our last lesson of the year, the students were encouraged to ask the scientists anything! Each student had a pre-prepared list of questions, and the topics ranged from entomology to genetics to going to college. Some of the questions the students asked included:
Is time travel possible? Is being a scientist hard? Can we bring back dinosaurs? Is it true that woolly mammoths will be brought back to life soon? Can we genetically engineer a dragon? Do aliens exist? Do you get to travel for your job? What GPA do you need to get into college? What is your favorite book? How big does a stickleback get? What is the coolest thing you have discovered? When did you decide to become a scientist? …and many more!
