Student STEM Workshops
We are hosting themed STEM workshops to provide fun, hands-on science experiences for children aged 8-13. Each workshop is comprised of several SfS lessons and activities and will be led by Science from Scientists’ Instructors: our real, charismatic scientists! All workshops will be approximately 2 1/2 hours long, held at our Bedford, MA office and cost between $10-15 each. Our current workshop offerings are:

All About Plants!
This workshop includes a dissection of commonly eaten plants to learn about their parts & functions, and an exploration of the process of photosynthesis through a game in which students model the functions of plants.

Monday, March 11th: 1-3pm
Monday, March 25th: 1-3pm

Hidden Chemistry:
This workshop includes a series of chemistry experiments in which students will investigate the hidden ingredients and properties of common household substances, from the secret color mixtures of inks to the difference in density of syrups!
