Scientists use interactive shows to draw youngsters

RDC-061In a series of interactive shows at Patriot Place in Foxborough over the February school vacation, a group of scientists demonstrated how math and science are part of the world around us – and how they can be fun – in an effort to foster enthusiasm for the subjects among young students. The shows, which drew scores of students from the south suburbs and beyond, were part of sponsor Raytheon Co.’s nationwide celebration of National Engineers Week.
