We’re excited to announce Science from Scientists’ winter series of science workshops! Workshops are open to students ages 8-13 and cost $10 to attend. Workshops run 2 hours and are offered at either 10am or 1pm on the listed date.

All workshops take place at our Massachusetts office, located at 1 Deangelo Drive, Suite C, Bedford MA 01730

Workshops offered in January and February:

Environments & Human Impact (January 28th)
Humans have a significant impact on our shared global environment. Through a series of explorations and collaborative games, students will explore how human populations can affect natural resources and systems, including impacts to animal populations and ecosystems, sustainable resource management, and the balance of our planet’s water cycle.

Environmental Engineering (February 11th or February 25th)
Students will have the opportunity to be “environmental engineers”: scientists who use engineering, biology, chemistry, and other fields of science to develop solutions to environmental problems such as pollution, ecosystem health, and recycling! Students will work together on a number of engineering and problem-solving challenges to learn about ways in which humans help to improve the world around them.
