Get A Clue: CSI and the Science of Forensics
It’s a classic ‘whodunit’. You’ve been called to the scene to gather evidence, but can you find the clues and solve the crime?

Join our team of junior detectives this February to explore the techniques behind crime scene investigation and discover how forensic science works in the real world.

Science from Scientists is excited to partner with Whitehead Institute to bring you this four-day interactive workshop on the kind of forensics you might see only on television.

The workshop, open to middle school students enrolled in grades 7-8, will guide students through the story of a mock crime in which several suspects will be introduced, each having motives for committing the crime. Students will then attend daily sessions to learn about forensic science and to apply their new knowledge to solve the mock crime. Included also are brief lectures from guest speakers and hands-on laboratory demonstrations. *For a full program synopsis visit http://wi.mit.edu/programs/forensics/overview.
